Come join us for a creative evening of Watercolour Painting at the Bayfield Lavender Farm!

Working in a group, you’ll receive generous guidance from

accomplished art educator BrendaLee,

creating a unique watercolour painting in a beautiful setting.

Learn something brand new or brush up your existing skills:

Any level of painting skill is welcome.

 

All materials (palettes, paints, boards, watercolour paper, etc) will be provided.

You’ll bring home your own original watercolour painting on 11x14 watercolour paper, as well as your practice paintings, and an instruction sheet to remind you of the techniques learned throughout the workshop.

You’ll have sunset access to the farm and receive a lavender themed non-alcoholic beverage!

 

More about BrendaLee:

 

BrendaLee Garratt is a painter, drawer, and carver with decades of experience in

a wide array of media. She graduated from the Ontario College of Art in 1993,

with honours as a Fine Art Drawing and Painting Specialist.

 BrendaLee also graduated from the Toronto Art Therapy Institute.

She has practiced art therapy with inmates in correctional centres and youth facing challenges. With her extensive training both in Art and Play Therapy, she has used these skills to enhance her therapeutic work with children and youth.

 

An enthusiastic educator, she has taught an array of artistic mediums to all ages, in all sorts of places, including the South Hampton Arts Centre and Elizabeth’s Art Gallery in Goderich, and the MacKay Centre.

Her past work has been on display at the Goderich Co-Op Gallery,

Thyme on 21, and at various fundraising auctions.

 This year, she is the Blyth Festival’s 2025 Season artist,

creating the poster images for the Festival’s 51st Season.

She is also an avid gardener whose gardens have been recognized by Communities in Bloom.

BrendaLee currently resides with her family at the Bayfield Lavender Farm.

WEATHER: We will be outdoors for this workshop. Please dress appropriately for the temperature. If it’s stormy, we have a rain date set aside.
