Pure Cedar Hydrosol from Bayfield Lavender Farm

Pure cedar hydrosol, steam distilled in small batches right here on the farm using sustainably and responsibly harvested cedar boughs. 

A distinctive and stimulating hydrosol, cedar reminds us of nature's power and beauty by bringing us into the present moment. The clean, fresh scent brightens any room and can be used in many different ways: It can safely be used as a natural skin toner and astringent, or as a gently deodorizing spray on linens.

What is Hydrosol?

Hydrosol is a by-product of the steam distillation process. Though it shares many of the same properties as essential oil, hydrosols are made up mostly of water. This means they’re much less concentrated than essential oils and have a softer, more subtle scent, making them a wonderful addition to skin care or aromatherapy products. Compared to essential oils, botanical hydrosols have a more subtle scent than their essential oil counterparts and can safely be used directly on the skin.
